Soap Stone Mold Making
And Pewter Casting

This class will teach the art of carving soap stone
to make a permanent mold for casting of molten pewter.
Each student will receive a block of soap stone. They will then carve a pattern in the stone creating a mold.
When the mold is finished each student will pour molten Pewter in their mold creating a piece of hand-made metal art.
The finished casting and the mold will be yours to keep!
